Vaisakhi at Leicester Museum
Great turnout and engagement with people from all communities at the Second Vaisakhi the the Museum. Great lectures by Kartar Singh, Harinder Singh and Ancient House Museum. Lectures by hosted by historian Gurinder Singh Mann.
The Sikhmuseum team were overwhelmed with the engagement with the Worlds first online 3d Museum via the digital touchscreen and Virtual Reality showcase. As well as portraits of Guru Gobind Singh ji on display as well as a maquette of the recently installed Sikh Statue was available for all to see.
The displays by Ancient House museum and Sikhartuk were well received the participants. The arts and crafts activities kept the children busy. Thanks to Leicester Museum & Art Gallery team for their excellent support to make this another success.
