The SMI will be exhibiting the Anglo Sikh Wars pop up exhibition together with their 3d tablet where relics can be seen in 3d.
2pm: Cafe discussion with Christopher Brice author of the soon to be released book, Brave as a Lion: The Life and Times of Field Marshal Hugh Gough, 1st Viscount Gough and Gurinder Singh Mann(SMI), author, historian and head of the Sikh Museum Initiative who will be talking about the Anglo Sikh Wars exhibition.
The 3rd annual ‘Military History Live’ event covers the last 500 years of military history.
With serving military personnel and veterans, stall holders, equipment displays, uniformed re-enactors, art and photography exhibits, table top gamers, military modellers, family history researchers, film screenings, hosted talks, book launches, museum ‘handling’ artefacts and many children’s activities this FREE event has something for everyone.
Adult Education doors open at 10am with formal opening at 11am.
The Old Library Cafe serves a full selection of hot and cold food and the entire event area is fully accessible.
