To kick off various talks on the new book: The Rise of the Sikh Soldier @eysikhcommunity is hosting an evening with Gurinder Singh Mann.
The EY Sikh Community (EYSC) will be joined by author, historian and director at the Sikh Museum Initiative, Gurinder Singh Mann. Gurinder will be discussing the Sikh heritage and also introducing his latest book, ‘The Rise of the Sikh Soldier.’ He will also be highlighting two women within this book, Rani Sada Kaur and Sahib Kaur of Patiala and sharing the importance they played in Sikh history.

Gurinder holds an MA in South Asian Religions and is an author of three books on Sikh history. He’s researched and discovered many Sikh artefacts and relics over the years, and is currently a Historian and Director at the Sikh Museum Initiative which is utilising 3D modelling and Augmented Reality to preserve Sikh heritage. Gurinder has also worked with major museums in the UK as well as appearing in print, radio, and TV.
