Essex Cultural Diversity Project organised a special Assembly celebrating the life and achievements of Princess Sophia Duleep Singh: Suffragette and women’s rights campaigner.The Event was facilitated by Sikh Historian Peter Bance and chaired by Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP

There was a amazing talks on the life of Sophia Duleep Singh by  Peter Bance, Priya Atwal, Anita Anand and Nanki Bance.
Each speaker gave insights into the life of Sophia Duleep Singh.

The Sikh Museum Initiative created a special presentation which ran as part of the event.

The event was also featured in the popular Punjabi news paper Des Pardes.
