Priya Atwal will be discussing the women who built the Sikh empire.

Speaking at a charity event in Rugby, on Friday 6 October Priya Atwal is undertaking the event in support of a charity called Unite in Virtue: its main purpose is to bring people together from all backgrounds and help those in need, whether it be by providing food, helping people find work or providing clothing.

All proceeds from the event go to the charity, who support people across the Midlands.

Priya Atwal undertook the lecture as part of the project of the Sikh Museum Initiative project: Anglo Sikh Wars Battles, Treaties and Relics. Please see enclosed flyer for more details.
