Using new content from the National Army Museum’s Indian Army collection, this talk will examine how certain races in India were identified, studied and groomed to form regiments in the British Indian Army.

Project Officer Jasdeep Singh Rahal is the lead on research and digitisation of the National Army Museum’s Indian Army collection.

Entry to Lunchtime Lectures is free. However, places must be reserved in advance by contacting our customer services team on 020 7730 0717. Bookings will close three days ahead of each lecture.

The dress code for the Army & Navy Club is smart. Ripped jeans, sportswear and flip-flops are not permitted.
