Lecture: Sikh Soldiers in the Great War

Lecture by Author and historian Gurinder Singh Mann, Director of the Sikh Museum Initiative.

As part of MBD’s ‘Empire Soldiers – A South Asian Story’ project, Gurinder Singh Mann will be giving a free talk about the experience of Sikh Soldiers in the Great War.
In particular he will bookend the war by exploring how soldiers from British India where recruited and contrasts that with their life when they returned from battle.

The event is free to attend but there are a limited number of places available. Please book a ticket to avoid disappointment.
